Siesta Key and Crescent Beach (at the end of our street!) are famous for its soft white sand, winning the "World‘s Finest and Whitest" beach sand. It is 40+ acres of beach, consisting of 99% pure, quartz crystal sand!!! (THE SOFT, COOL WHITE KIND!) Siesta Beach has amenities including: lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables & grills, rest rooms and showers, volleyball courts, 4 tennis courts and a playground shaded by Australian pines. Parking is free at all beaches! Turtle Beach is smaller, less crowded and perfect for shell collecting and capturing a sunset. There is also a boat launch!Local Shopping and DiningSiesta Key has numerous restaurants and bars to visit, some only 5 minutes walking distance! For great food try Clayton‘s Grille, Javier‘s Peruvian Restaurant or Ophelia‘s on the Bay! There‘s also a wide variety of bars, nightclubs, art museums, and an abundance of shopping malls in town.
