Siesta Key is an eight mile long barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico. It is accessible via two bridges that connect Siesta Key to the mainland of Sarasota. We are located approximately 60 miles South of Tampa on the Sunshine State‘s Gulf Coast.
Our "Beachside Villas" Resort is just about a 100 Yard walk from Award Winning Crescent Beach!
The Beaches Banana Bay Club "Waterside" has Turtle Beach one mile south with Banana Bay Club "Beachside" only 100 yards away from Crescent Beach and Siesta Beach is only 2 miles north. Siesta Key and Crescent Beach (at the end of our street!) are famous for its soft white sand, winning the "World‘s Finest and Whitest" beach sand. It is 40+ acres of beach, consisting of 99% pure, quartz crystal sand!!! (THE SOFT, COOL WHITE KIND!) Siesta Beach has amenities including: lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables & grills, rest rooms and showers, volleyball courts, 4 tennis courts and a playground shaded by Australian pines. Parking is free at all beaches! Turtle Beach is smaller, less crowded and perfect for shell collecting and capturing a sunset. There is also a boat launch!
Local Shopping and Dining Siesta Key has numerous restaurants and bars to visit, some only 5 minutes walking distance! For great food try Clayton‘s Grille, Javier‘s Peruvian Restaurant or Ophelia‘s on the Bay! There‘s also a wide variety of bars, nightclubs, art museums, and an abundance of shopping malls in town.
